OMICRON Virtual Workshop: Protection, Automation and Control

We are happy to invite you to meet with the specialists of IEC 61850 in the upcoming virtual workshop Protection, Automation and Control. The workshop comprises three sessions. Naibo Ji
Engineering Services Manager (Asia), OMICRON Asia

Naibo Ji received BEng (Hons) and MSc in Electrical Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, specialized in power quality and power system protection for 12 years. He works in OMICRON as Business Development Manager focusing on power utility communication and IEC 61850 conformance monitoring. Naibo emphasizes the practical knowledge and learners’ experience in his sharings. Naibo has directly trained more than 2,500 protection engineers and technicians from the Asia Pacific in the past 120 workshops and training. Naibo also attended and presented technical papers at international conferences like Cyber for ICS, CIRED, DPSP, CEPSI, APAP.


Joe Wong
Regional Application Specialist (Power Utility Communication), OMICRON Asia

Joe Wong studied and received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at Royal Melbourne institute of Technology University. He works in OMICRON as Regional Application Specialist for Power Utility Communication in the Asia Region. He has been working at OMICRON since 2013 as a Technical Support and Application Engineer with special focus on protection testing and Power Utility communication.
