With the continuing global health concerns about the spread of COVID-19, we have changed the format for this year's CPS from face-to-face to a LIVE virtual event. The dates will be the same—December 1-3, 2020. Further details, including an agenda, will be released within the next two weeks.

Networking Basics for IEC 61850 and Digital Substation Applications Tutorial
This optional half-day session introduces the networking concepts necessary to successfully apply IEC 61850 technologies in the substation. Participants will gain a better understanding of how IED’s exchange GOOSE, MMS, and Sampled Values messages, as well as how to design a network that is reliable, efficient, and secure.

Field Testing a Distribution Automation Scheme Using RelaySimTest Tutorial
This optional half-day session provides a hands-on technical demonstration of how to thoroughly test a distribution automation scheme using power system simulation combined with end-to-end testing.
