Join us for the 6th Annual Northeast Power and Energy Conference (NEPEC). This event is a technical forum where professionals from industry, academia, utilities, government, and manufacturers exchange knowledge on systems responsible for generating, transmitting, and distributing electric power.

This year's event is a condensed program influenced by the original in-person 2020 NEPEC Agenda. The program is now a one day webinar with morning and afternoon sessions. The morning session will focus on IEC 61850, and the afternoon session will focus on applications and new approaches within the power industry.

Tutorial on IEC 61850

This IEC 61850 tutorial will be led by Alex Apostolov. You will learn the latest trends of the IEC 61850 standards and essential topics that will also be applied in the presentation portion of the virtual NEPEC conference in the afternoon.

To provide a regional forum where professionals from industry, academia, utilities, government, and manufacturing share and exchange knowledge on systems responsible for the generation, transmission, and distribution of electric power. The sharing of information at this conference will help attendees and their organizations become more competitive, efficient, and successful in their efforts. The conference will provide many networking opportunities to facilitate collaboration amongst attendees creating a special and unique electric power community.
